DESCRIPTION
An overhead door consists of a door leaf that closes off an opening in a building. This door leaf consists of horizontally connected panels. An overhead door is opened vertically.
The overhead/ sectional doors as the Dock Doors are frequently
used in combination with Dock Levelers, their extreme operations and frequent use demands high on quality and easy operation. They are mainly available in Vertical lift and High Lift version.
The doors are optimally protected against deformation and
corrosion. The panels are fitted with an additional integrated steel reinforcement strip.
This Overhead door is made of 40mm thick, steel sandwich
panels (sections). The Front and back skins are separated by a fire retardant PU (CFC) free foam core. All of which results in an insulation value in the highest class of the CE standards, which will considerably reduce the energy consumption.
This Overhead doors can be manually operated or opened or
operated using a chain hoist or electric motor.Operating conditions
The maximum door speed at which can be safely operated up to a wind speed of 32 m/s (10 Beaufort). The door has a water tightness rating of IP65 (this means that the door is splash proof).
Operating principle
To move and at the same time counter-balance the weight of the door, a torsion-spring counter-balance system is fitted. There are various types of drive for the overhead doors. These are: Manually operated using a chain hoist or Electric drive with chain hoist

Hardware type : High Lift , Low lift, Vertical Lift normal system type with pre-assembled springs either option depending upon overhead room.
Door leaf : A door leaf is the total of horizontally connected panels used to shut off and give access to an area. These panels are made of 2 steel sheets separated by insulation material.
Panels : These GI sheets are separated by insulating (polyurethane) foam. The total thickness of the panels is 40mm
Panels as standard with Finger : The finger Protection prevents your Protection Fingers getting caught between the panels when closing the door. Finger Protection is obligatory (CE Standard) for overhead Doors up to a height of 2.50 meters.

Rail Set : The Life of a door depends on the Strength of the rail Made of high quality Galvanized steel with a permanent part “SMART CONNECTION” patented worldwide, between horizontal and vertical rails.
Springs and Hoisting Cables : Shot peened, powder coated and oiled. The hoisting cables are six times over dimensioned for additional safety. Torsion springs form an essential component of every overhead door. The spring quality and the choice of the right type eventually determine the correct operation of the doors.
At the Dock Areas : The overhead door at dock areas will fulfill your extreme requirements. Through well thought construction, it has a modular structure, so that it is easier to maintain.
